Budweiser Budriders’ Riverjump

Slopestyle with an Italian flavour at the TTR FOUR(4)STAR event Budweiser Budriders’ Riverjump, 8th – 11th March, 2007.

In a progressive snow-park set-up hosted by top duty-free resort, Livigno at the Mottolino, the 2nd Edition Budweiser Budriders’ Riverjump provides Italy’s best riders the chance to land into 14 qualification spots, and join 10 invited international riders for a unique Final. With a challenging rail set-up built over the River Spoel, the 24 finalists will compete in a jam format rail jump section to win part of the 30,000euro cash prize and the ubiquitous TTR Ranking Points.

International competing riders include TTR World Nr 5 Janne Korpi (FIN). A 10th place or higher finish at the Budrider’s River Jump would see Korpi (FIN) drop his 19th slopestyle result from TTR FIVE(5)STAR Crans Montana Champs Open by Rip Curl and move him up to 4th position on the current TTR Ranking List presented by Swatch.

With a podium result, Miikka Hast (FIN) TTR World Nr 11 could move up to 10th spot on the current TTR Ranking List by dropping his 2nd place result from the recent TTR TWO(2)STAR TRANSITION MISSION.

Sami Saarenpää (FIN), Julien Haricot (FRA) and Italian Budrider Tato Chiala (ITA) compete with American rail-king riders in a contest set to thrill Italian snowboard fans.
