1981:

F2 Fun & Function, under this new label, Peter Brockhaus (came from Mistral), Managing Director Klaus Dreher and Germany´s best wave windsurfer and shaper Jürgen Hönscheid (parted with Marker) crossed , to kick off in Wals near Salzburg. With two boards, the F2 Comet and the longer raceboard F2 Lightning, the brand is presented at the world biggest sports goods exhibition ISPO in Munich. (Foto Ispo) Under the headline “F2-Boards for beginners and artists” the surf magazine published a half page report on the newcomer.

1996:

Björn Dunkerbeck survives ten years of Worldcup unharmed. Then he bruised his shoulder joint when went snowboarding (Foto im Krankenhaus) , anyhow at the end of the season he is at the top in Worldcup. With the F2 Xantos-Cup F2 initiates a regatta series for everybody: “Take part and have fun“ is the motto
