Fanatic skifter distributør
Efter at have været håndteret af Nautic surf & ski igennem mere end 10 år, har Fanatic valgt at skifte distributør i Danmark. Valget er faldet på Intersurf som igennem mange år har været distributør for North Sails windsurfing og North Kiteboarding. Disse to mærker ligger sammen med Fanatic i sammen moderselskab der hedder Boards and More.
Fanatic har et skræmmende hold af stjerner på deres internationale team – på freestylefronten er bl.a. flere gange verdensmester Gollito Estredo. Det samme gælder i deres waveafdeling med kæmpe navne som Victor Fernandez og Klass Voget, Voget som oftest kan ses i Klitmøller og omegn. Sidst men ikke mindst findes også danske Kurosh Kiani på det internationale slalom team. Det bliver derfor spændende at se, hvad det kan blive drevet til her i Danmark med nye og friske hænder på distributionsfronten.
Riders har spurgt Fanatic’s brandmanager Craig Gertenbach og direktør for Intersurf om deres følelser og forventninger til det fremtidige samarbejde.
Craig Gertenbach:
“We are hopeful that the change to Intersurf will bring about the needed push for Fanatic in the Danish market, to put us in the same leading position we enjoy in the rest of Europe, we have seen with other “B&M” hub distributions that this has always worked well due to our Central warehouse and logistic, as well as the obvious advantages of combining the products which are marketed together, in the same distribution.

Ole Klemensen er direktør for Danske Intersurf der nu har overtaget distributionen af Fanatic i Danmark, da vi spurgte ham til en lille kommentar til det nyligt forstået, svarede han følgende:

“The team setup will be settled during the next 12 months, as we don’t really know what deals and agreements there are with different riders, but there will be a small team setup with dedicated riders that will help develop the business in Denmark.
That said we have 100% focus on business and will not bring a huge team/promotion program to the market before we have the business to do so..
The Fanatic boards is defiantly among the best on market, and we will focus on that and hope this will compensate for not running the brand as a “close out brand” as many other board brands do”
