Jägermeister Wave Riderz

This memory made the riders decide to go back again for the 2008 edition after a nice roadtrip event to Denmark in 2007. Wednesday 5 November riders and crew will again gather in the harbour of Harlingen to head to Vlieland with a big historical ship. This ship will also be the basecamp and hotel during this trip.

On board will be the crème de la crème of the dutch wave scene. To name a few; Kevin Mevissen, Martin ten Hoeve, Ben van der Steen, Nikaj Droop, Sander van Baaren, Mike Bossaert and Jeroen Boelema. PWA Judge Thijs van der Meer will lead the competition.

From 5 till 9 november there will be serious action on the water and of course in the local pub at night. Vlieland is a very special location. It is a small dutch island where it is not allowed to drive a car unless you are a local. Vlieland is known for the beautifull nature, and it’s is also special because of the nice wave conditions and the fact that it normally has a more wind then elsewhere in the country. And that’s what everybody is hoping for.
