Dear All,

It’s been a action packed weekend here. First it was of to a freestyle contest “King of the Fjord” Saturday in the southeast of Denmark, which due to light winds became more of a cosy “come together” on the beach, however we got a light wind super session, which was won by Anders Rasmussen, and myself in second. With a gale force weather forecast for Sunday, I decided to go for a fairly sleepless ferry journey overnight to Varberg, Sweden for the Wave Classic and open Swedish Championships. And it was worth the trouble, as we were met with 4,0 wave sailing conditions in the morning! The contest is traditionally well attended and this year were no different with 45-50 participates from Sweden, Norway, Finland. With a high performance level in Sweden I was stoked to come out on top! 🙂

Hopefully the windy start of the autumn continues, so we’ll have wind for the coming contests as well. The next 2 ones are: 9-10 Sep Klitmoeller Danish wave/freestyle tour and the international annual “Soul Files” 14-17 Sep also in Klitmoeller.
