Point-7 signer H-999
Martin Ten Hoeve H-999:
Point-7 international are pleased to announce the signing of Martin Ten Hoeve. The Dutch wave sailor, who is born and raised in Holland, is geared up to represent Point-7 in 2008. He has competed on the PWA World tour for some years now and is also taking part in numerous other wave events around northern Europe.
Having the North Sea as his home spot Martin will be joining the development and testing of wave sails, aiming to fuse the tough North Sea conditions with the heavy Sardinian swells, making the toughest wave sail ever build in Europe.
Martin himself comments; One of the reasons for me to change from North Sails was that with them I was just one of many riders on a big team.
At Point-7 I’ll be part of a more compact group, who has a very dynamic and enthusiastic non stop approach to the development of their material. I believe in the commitment and expertise they are showing and after having tried some of their sails I’m ever more convinced that I’ve made the right choice.
Being part of the development will also bring my sailing to a new level, allowing me to reach my own personal goals such as to become Dutch wave Champion and get a better world ranking. In 2008 I will also be competing more in slalom and with the support and help of Andrea Cucchi, one of the best riders there is, I’m sure to improve my game dramatically. I can only say the future looks bright and I’m stoked to be given the opportunity to join the Point-7 team!
