Surfact is without question currently one of the most successful and promising rock bands on the Danish music scene. Since the start in 2003 they have already played concerts in LA and New York as well as hundreds of gigs around Denmark and the rest of Europe.
Their debut album “Terrific Downfall” busted down the door by placing #1 on MTV’s viewer music chart for 4 weeks in a row, and One of the songs from the album, “Monkey on your Back” also featured in the American Miramax movie “The Lookout” by Scott Frank. At the moment the song is featuring on the national music chart “Boogie listen” for the 3rd consecutive week. Their music is heavy, hard and melodic and is carried by glowing guitars, a steady rhythm section and a confident lead singer. The well composed lyrics are based on the musicians’ own reality and tell stories about friends and enemies, disappointments and crashed relationships, romances and humiliations, drugs and waste of talent. |
