Concept:
Volcom’s Totally Crustaceous Tour is a grass roots effort that has infiltrated local and regional areas with FREE surfing contests. These events are for the kids of all ages to express their talent, gain contest experience, have a good time, get some FREE grinds, and walk home with a ton of Free product for a day of surfing.
We would like to express the purpose of the VQS Europe tour 03.
Its to create a unique surfing enviroment, not a typical contest, but more like a gathering, It is where people can come together and hang out, without all the fees, rules, stipulations and the lack of commaraderie of a normal surfing event. These events are about giving back to the local surf communities and making it possible for kids without sponsors or the money to compete. KIDS will be able to express their talent at a local and national level and will push the next generation to become something better than the last.
Everyone can compete without having to pay a entry fee and all contestants will receive prizes and giveaways…..plus a FREE lunch!
Volcom Stones VQS tour of Europe 03 will kick off in the end of May and will conclude in mid October. The VQS will consist of 6 separate dates in areas such as Canarias ?, France, England, Portugal and Denmark.
Each event will have three separate divisions to choose from Groms 13 and under,juniors15-17 and men’s pro-am 18 and over.
VQS* Europe events for 2003 include:
The Sid Fish surf series in Cornwall/England 28th-29th June/Juin.
The Rumble Fish surf series in Amando/Portugal 16th –17th July/Juillet.
The Mullet fish Surf series in Vendee/Nth France 30th –31st August/Auot.
The Flat Fish Surf series in Klitmoller/Denmark 2oth –21 st September/Septembre.
The Mullet Fish Surf series in Hossegor/France 18th –19th Octobre/October
