King of the Bay is Over
King of the Bay is over.
After four days we have to leave Alacati without result and this year the Bay keeps the crown as it was not possible to decide who should be the King of the Bay.
We couldn’t be sadder about it and everyone here feels the same. The ASPC Team offered us a great organization and so we would love to give them a winner. Mother Nature decided that we shall go home with things undone so we could come back next year and do it better.
As so often in our great sport we have to say: its part of the game!!!
Anyway we had a great and relaxed time here, the organisation was superb and with the support of "MAUI and Sons", VOLVO and POWER FM they managed that all riders kept running around totally happy. In the two days where we were running the competition the boys brought their moves extremely close to the beach where the crowds couldn’t expect more. Even better they couldn’t believe their eyes when the EFPT riders pulled their tricks with the usual ease…
Even that we go home without a result we can’t complain at all, this place proofed to be great for sailing as we had 2 fantastic days before the competition and we highly recommend it.
Even Andre Paskowski, who as this year leader and top ranked rider didn’t have to go on the water at all, is stoked about turkey.
We say thanks again to Arkin and Ralf (ASPC) and their whole crew, the Shaka hotel and all people here in turkey that supported us 24/7.
Also to the Sponsors of this great event who made it all happen.
So the EFPT goes on and we will see us in Croatia.
