Slopestyle ALTS
Japanese snowboard fans once again shout banzai! as the nation’s top progressive slopestylers compete at TTR FOUR(4)STAR event Slopestyle ALTS, hosted by Alts Bandai resort, Fukushima Prefecture between 9th-11th March, 2007.
One of four main snowboard events in Japan and the largest domestic park festival, the 8th Annual Slopestyle ALTS supported by the Supersports Xebio takes place on an 800metre long slopestyle that combines challenging kickers and rail-slides on an 8-section course. Riders will be judged on technique and overall performance for a share of the 30,000USD prize purse and up to 700 TTR Ranking Points.
Along with Japan’s snowboard stars, top international riders competing include Alex Schmaltz (GER), Dustin Craven (USA), Joel Strecker (SUI), Eero Niemela (FIN), and fresh from his recent TTR FIVE(5)STAR The Oakley Arctic Challenge 11th place result, Jake Koia (NZE).
